DRYER VENT CLEANING
Most people don't know their dryer vents need to be cleaned.
But there are a lot of really good reasons why you should have your dryer
vent cleaned regularly.
There are 16,700 dryer vent fires a year.* If you clean out your lint
filter now and then, chances are you know that lint is highly flammable.
The dryer vent duct is where lint can really build up and get clogged.
My customers are amazed when they see their vents cleaned for the first
time! I clean my own ducts about twice a year. If you click on the commercial
below you can see how much lint I had in my vent after just six months.
(Of course, cleaning chimneys is a dirty job so I do a lot of laundry too!)
Have you noticed your dryer doesn't seem to be drying your clothes like
it used to? A clogged dryer vent reduces airflow and makes your dryer inefficient.
An inefficient dryer uses more energy and costs you money.
We earn our business when we clean and inspect your dryer vent. When
we give a standard cleaning we will unhook your dryer and clean the vent
duct with special tools. We also check all of your connections to make
sure that your vent is safe. We can service all venting situations including
extremely long vent ducts, which are especially susceptible to lint buildup.
